This prop is perfect for a more professional routine. The only problem is that you cannot stand close to your audience. I recommend using this for stage and caberat magic performances. I already tested the limitation of the prop and I suggest about 10 feet away from the crowd is far enough.
When I bought this, I thought you can appear and disappear with this prop. Do not be confused. The gimmick is created so that you can ONLY make the candle appear. Vanishing is out of the question.
You will require to know slieght of hand and mostly palming (good for the intermediate magician). I prefer an 18" silk to use with this. The silk hides the candle as it produces and reveals it better. You can also use this item without a silk. It is created to make the candle appear really fast. So you can use this versitile item whenever.
Finally, the last thing I need to say is that the candle can only be used once during a performance. After it is used, you need to reset it. So good luck, have fun, and BUY THIS ITEM! :D
