This method is fantastic. Same effect and result as the classic Gene Anderson newspaper tear, but none of the lenghthy setup and hassle with prep time. Same flash restoration, and same audience reactions. This is a bit on the expensive side, but if you want to do the newspaper tear, this is the easiest method.
