MJM Magic Note: This is a great item to carry around with you! Some of the most successful items in magic are those where the spectators THINK that the joke is on you, only to discover that you were right all along. This can be carried with you at all times and always gets a laugh!
This is my twist on the classic effect, "The Magician's Insurance Policy"
A card is selected and you proclaim that the card will vanish and reappear inside your wallet.
Saying those words you remove the black leather wallet, open it a reveal a card...the wrong card but there is a card. You ask, "Was it this card?"
The response is, "No."
You give the wallet a gentle shake and a tiny card banner falls from the wallet revealing 13 cards of the same suit. "Surely it must be one of these." (another laugh)
They say, "No" again.
"OK.....So what was your card ?" you ask.
They tell you and you turn the banner around to show the correct card is spelled out on the back.
Go a head and gets some laughs on me.
