"I love this idea. It eliminates all flaws often encountered when signed cards are found inside sealed bottles. What's even more amazing is that the whole thing is practically self-working!"-Peter Duffie

"Waiter, there's a card in my drink!"-Bob Farmer

"An amazing use of 2000 years of magic evolution."-Aaron Smith

A signed card instantly appears inside a sealed bottle! That’s how the routine plays. No fumbling extra steps or misused moments. This is as clean as they come – cleaner – it absolutely sparkles!

A reputation maker, instant classic, any venue any time, etc. Forget the clichés, this is the best thing since sliced cards! You’ll be struck back to birth when you see how clever and efficient this trick really is.

The instruction book is all-inclusive. Every nuance and subtlety is described in vivid detail. Even the freshest newbie will understand each step.

Alternative tricks, using the same gimmicks, are also taught. This is a serious box of magic. That’s right, BOX of magic! The shoebox size packaging barely holds all the materials. However, once you decide which effects you want to perform, the gimmicks can fit in a watch pocket!

This is the stuff miracles are made of, a clever concept and flawless execution.

REVIEW:

"A card is selected, signed, returned, and lost in the deck. The card appears in a sealed bottle of clear soda. The card is poured into a cup, floats to the top, and the spectator unfolds it to reveal the signed selection."

When this product first hit Ellusionist in July 2004, there were many questions regarding the method of "Impossible card in Bottle". "A signed card appearing instantly inside a closed bottle?". How could this be, there were other products on the market that had "Card to Bottle". With people just brushing it off, "must use difficult sleight of hand". "Must be another Blaine trick". Sleight of hand? Barely any. Another Blaine trick? Not even close.

Peter Duffie stated, "I love this idea..The whole thing is practically self-working!"

When Blaine performed his "card to bottle", he used a bottle that was already opened. Sounds fishy if you ask me.

Here is a little routine that I came up with on the first day I received "Impossible Card in Bottle".

With "Impossible Card to Bottle", a spectator signes a random card, any card. The card is now shuffled in the deck, a nice riffle and snap the card has disappeared. "Where did it go?". "In my pocket!.....no, it's not there?" *cough* *cough*.The magician hands the spectator the deck of cards. "Excuse me, I need a drink, look for another card in the deck".

The magician goes for his soda that has been in full sight of the spectator the whole time. He stops, does not even touch the bottle at first. "Look!". The magician grabs the bottle and places it in front of the spectator. The spectator sees something. What appears to be a card is floating inside the bottle. "That couldn't possibly be your card right?"

"Here you open it." The spectator grabs a hold of the bottle. Begins to open the bottle. "Crack!", you can see and hear the safety seal break. pfzzzzzt!, you hear the air rush out the bottle. The magician grabs a hold of a near by cup and begins to pour the contents out of the bottle.

Everything is poured out in full view. The cup is filled and with all the bubbles out of the way the magician asks for the spectator to grab the wet card out. The spectator begins to open the dripping card. It's their signed card.

"Impossible Card in Bottle" will leave a lasting impression on your audience. If this does not amaze them, nothing will. This trick is so simple and visual that there is no question about it, it must be a miracle. I am calling this "Possible Card in Bottle" because it just is. There is so much potential in this trick that you are only limited to your imagination. It does not have to be card in bottle, how about signed coin in bottle. Bugs in bottle? Now you are getting somewhere.

The intructions are clear on what you have to do. It gives you a couple routines including some very funny patter that you can follow. The book is just filled with ideas and possibilities.

There is only one reason I would not recommend this trick to everyone. Only a limited of number of people could have a chance to perform this trick. However I'm not like that and if you were impressed just reading it, go out and get it. Ellusionist has given you a top of the line product here. This was not something just thrown in together to get a few laughs. Gerald Kirchner and friend spent alot of time and research to accomplish such a stunning effect.
