Impossible Sandwich

Impossible Sandwich, by Sander Kosters, is an amazing sandwich effect that will completely baffle your spectators!

As with most sandwich effects, the trick starts out by removing two cards. In our demo video, we use the two black aces.

Then, the spectator is given a free choice to choose any card out of the center of the deck. That's right, ANY card.

After looking at the card, they are told to remember it, and then the card is lost in the middle of the deck. You even shuffle and cut the deck a number of times, just to make sure it's hopelessly lost.

You then draw their attention to the two aces on the table. What is so special about these two cards anyway? Well, after simply waving them above the deck on the table, they magically sandwich in between them one card.....one mysterious card!

You ask the spectator for their card, and they tell you, only to reveal that the card which was sandwiched between the two aces is NOT their card! It's some indifferent card, like the King of Spades! How did this happen? It looks as if the magician screwed up big time. You ask the spectator again if they are POSITIVE that this wasn't their card, drawing even more attention to the messup. Of course, they respond by saying "No, I'm sure that was not my card."

So the magician puts the sandwiched packet to the side in FULL VIEW THE ENTIRE TIME! He then asks the spectator to merely THINK of his card while the deck gets cut. This magically causes one card to reverse itself in the middle of the deck!

The magician then removes this one face down card from the deck, and places it on the table. Finally, he asks the name of the spectators card one more time. However, the card that was just extracted from the deck is NOT the spectators card, but instead, it's the same indifferent card that was previously sandwiched between the aces!

Impossibly, the spectator is blown away to see that the card now sandwiched between the aces is in fact THEIR CHOSEN CARD! It can even be signed!

The Impossible Sandwich, by Sander Kosters, really blows people away, expecially when they see their card magically sandwich itself in between the two cards, when just a second before, they clearly saw a different card there while left in full view! You have to see the video to believe it!
