Incredible Card Trick by Nick Trost

A deck of cards is shown, half red and the other half blue. Spectator takes his packet and is asked to shuffle and cut the packet several times. Now he is asked to ribbon spread the packet and push out one card, 'his free choice'. This card is placed on top of the magicians half. The magician cuts and shuffles his packet and places a card on the spectator's packet.

The packets are ribbon spread again and the blue packet has a red card in it face down and the blue pqlacket has a red card face down. When these cards are turned over they both match.

The spectators will assume that all the cards are the same (like a one -way deck) but when the red and blue packets are turned over they are found to be all blank.
