Charles McFarland (trade show magician extraordinaire) got me into magic into 1981 and we hosted two Close-Up For Connoiseurs conventions in Texas in 1984 and 1986. Had some big names there such as Martin Nash, Daryl, Darwin Ortiz, Paul Gertner and others, so we've seen a lot of great magic. We've also culled a lot of things that weren't too impressive, practical, etc. Lately I've been trying to get Charlie to buy and use Gary's Capitulating Queens. I've been using it for months now and it gets an extremely strong reaction. It is totally baffling and mystifying and when someone asks me to do something, this is the first thing out of my pocket. And one very nice thing is that it is very easy to do. Charlie hasn't seen it yet, but when he does, he'll be hooked!!! Don't miss out on this terrific trick. Don't think you can kill laymen with a packet trick? Better think again!!!
