I have seen Jeff Hobson perform the egg bag live, and his routine is top notch. Recently I wanted to learn the egg bad, so I figure why not go to the master. Lets start out with the good:

There is some very good info on the differences between the different style of bags, and eggs. There is a routine presented that is very to the point, very well explained, and very convincing, I think, for the spectators.

There was some very nice information given on audience management. You can tell he has really put a lot of work and thinking into his routine.

Now, the bad.

The video for this was taken in 2007-8 for an online lecture series. The video and sound is not quite dvd quality. That is not a big issue for me. What is a very distracting issue for me, is that half the time, I feel like I am watching a home shopping network videoof Mr. Hobson trying to sell his brand of egg bag. I agree he put in a lot of thought into the design of his egg bag, but adverts keep popping up saying 'Order Now!'. The camera would occasionally pan over and show the display stack of Hobson Egg Bags, and if you order now you get 20% off (with a disclaimer saying that the offer was no longer valid).

I can only give this 3 stars. I was hoping for more displays showing all the different style bags. More moves on displaying the bag empty. Other routine ideas. Plus, its a full price DVD.
