This is a great set. I do close up and with this I can use American coins and don't have to do a show and tell on a coin that no one is familiar with. The magnetic funtion works very well although you do have to have a steel coin or washer to separate the coins. All in all a very nice deal for what I do at a table or over a bar. Working at a distance I use the larger coins
