They are covered with two covers, the white rabbit going into the cover with the white door, the black rabbit going into the cover with the black door. The covers are moved around, and the rabbits are found to have changed places. This is repeated a number of times, and the audience beleives they have caught on.

They inform you you are merely turning the rabbits around.
Finally you turn them around and show the backs are red and green!
