If you don't know what psychometry is, then you may be shocked to see that even you possess this secret talent of mentalism!

The Effect:

The magician removes five random cards from the deck, shuffles them thoroughly, and asks the spectator to remove one of them. This is a free choice, and the magician has no idea which card is chosen. He can even have his head turned the opposite way.

Once the spectator choses a card, the magician further shuffles the cards to mix up their order even more!

After the spectator returns his card to the packet, the magician AGAIN shuffles the cards, making absolutely sure that the card is randomly lost in the packet.

Yet, despite all the shuffles, the magician is able to feel the energy of the spectator coming from the chosen card. After a little concentration, the card becomes known to the magician and he can remove the other four cards from the table, leaving the spectator's card!

This is going to be a little biased as this is one of my own creations. But I thought it would only be fair to point out the strong points of this effect.

1. It can be done completely impormptu, on a moment's notice, you can even perform it with a friend's borrowed deck.

2. It gives your spectators the impression that you really do possess psychic powers.

3. There is no sleight of hand involved, one simple 'move' which you will learn in the instruction video is all you need to pull this amazing feat off. This allows you to put all your concentration on presentation, and that is what effective Magic ia all about.

4. Jeff lowered the price on this bad boy, you are getting a great deal. I have had Magicians offer me much more that $8 to teach them this.

5. Within an hour of watching the instructional video, you will be blowing your spectators away.

6. This is one of the very very very few effects I feel comfortable reapeating right away for the same spectator or for other spectators in the same room.

7. I have only ever had this fail once (first 'live' performance) and have NEVER been busted on the method.

Don't let the simplicity of the handling and secret detract you from learning and performing this effect. It has always had nothing less than great reactions from my audiences.
