If you don't know what psychometry is, then you may be shocked to see that even you possess this secret talent of mentalism!

The Effect:

The magician removes five random cards from the deck, shuffles them thoroughly, and asks the spectator to remove one of them. This is a free choice, and the magician has no idea which card is chosen. He can even have his head turned the opposite way.

Once the spectator choses a card, the magician further shuffles the cards to mix up their order even more!

After the spectator returns his card to the packet, the magician AGAIN shuffles the cards, making absolutely sure that the card is randomly lost in the packet.

Yet, despite all the shuffles, the magician is able to feel the energy of the spectator coming from the chosen card. After a little concentration, the card becomes known to the magician and he can remove the other four cards from the table, leaving the spectator's card!
