A half dollar coin is clearly shown to the audience and can even be passed out for examination. The magician then holds the coin in plain view at the fingertips of his left hand. After a few practice tosses the magician throws the coin into the air and with his right forefinger he pierces the coin in mid-air!

After a few moments to "recover from the pain" he displays the pierced coin on all sides and then removes it from his finger for examination.

You begin to rub the disc across the bill, suddenly it appears to melt halfway into the bill! This is a startling and visual moment when it appears as if the effect was literally stopped in the middle of the magic! If you were holding off on buying the Flying Fifties because you prefer to work with dollar sized coins wait no longer. Introducing Descending Dollars which is Flying Fifties in Dollar sized!!! This trick works with either Eisenhower or Morgan silver dollars.

EFFECT: The magician places a card box on top of an empty glass. Showing a silver dollar, he vanishes the coin. Holding the invisible coin, the magician appears to throw/drop the coin towards the card box. The coin materializes and drops into the glass with an audible clink. The effect is then repeated for a total of four coins dropping into the glass.

The Robot Coins in Glass was first manufactured in the mid sixties by Ken Allen. John Blake has re-released this marvelous piece of magic in a simple to use form that is totally reliable. Part 1: The magician shows two chinese coins (regular size) and says that in China "less is more". He puts one of the coins in his pocket, clearly leaving only one coin in his hand; but when he asks how many coins are left and spectators answer "one", he opens it and there are three coins! He repeats the action, puting one of the three coins in the pocket, leaving two in his hands but when spectators say "two" he can show there are now four coins! Very visual effect. Part 2: The magician shows two jokers, both sides, and his hands completely empty. The two cards are put together face to face and a jumbo chinese coin appears from in between them. This is repeated three times causing three more jumbo coins to appear from nowhere, always showing the cards both sides and the hands empty. All four coins can be shown both sides. The included instructions explain 4 different tricks that can be performed with the Dime & Penny.

TRICK 1 EFFECT:

Display a dime and penny on your left palm and ask a spectator to extend his right hand, palm up. Place the dime on his palm, and then place the penny on his palm. Place your right forefinger on the two coins. Now ask the spectator to close his hand around both coins and your finger. Slowly remove your finger from the closed fist. Reach into your pocket and remove a dime. Comment on the fact that you are now holding the dime. The spectator then opens his hand, showing that he is holding only the penny.

TRICK 2 EFFECT:

Display the penny and dime on your outstretched left palm. Close your hand into a fist. Reach into the closed left hand and remove the penny. Hand the penny to a spectator, and ask the spectator which coin he would rather have, the penny or the dime. Of course he will think you have a dime concealed in your closed left hand. He will say he would rather have the dime. Take back the penny and slowly open your left fist to show the dime has vanished. You can tell him that if you can't have the time, no one can.

TRICK 3 EFFECT:

This effect reduces forty-one cents to thirty-one cents. You use the Dime & Penny set, a nickel, and a quarter. Lay out the coins overlapping in your left palm. Ask the spectators how much money is there, and they will respond "forty-one cents". Take a pen (or pencil or magic wand) and push them over each other until they are all in a pile and once again ask the spectators how much money is there. This time when they respond forty-one cents, slide the coins apart, and to the spectators' surprise only thirty-one cents can be seen.

TRICK 4 EFFECT:

Place a dime on the back of your hand. Place a penny on the back of your hand so that it overlaps the dime. Using the forefinger of your other hand, press down on the two coins, and the dime passes right through your hand, dropping from the palm of your hand down to the ground!

Slippery Expanded Shell (Morgan Silver Dollar)

Three coins travel between your hands. A borrow coin goes from your hand to your pocket. These and all the expanded shell routines could be improve with this new gimmick. It's really a new concept in expanded shell coins.

Effect

The magician shows two coins in his left hand and makes one coin disappear with his right hand. The magician shows the contents of both hands, yet there is only one between them! As a finale, the second coin reappears in the left hand!

Super-Man by Roy Kueppers

The Magician approaches an unknowing spectator and asks, "Do you have a quarter on you today, Ma'am?" The spectator proceeds to look for change in her pocket. The Magician then prompts, "Could you please sign the coin for me before I take it from you." (The coin does not need to be signed, but it adds to the effect's finale.) At this point, the Magician takes the coin, holding it in view of the spec, and says, "I'm going to try something here ... You know what? You may be able to do the same as I do. Do you have another quarter?" The spectator reaches into her pocket and retrieves another coin. The Magician, hold the signed, borrowed coin at the fingertips, and begins to rub the coin, saying, "Rub your coin like me. Can you see mine starting to bend?" The Magician finished showing the bent coin, and immediately gives the coin to the spec as a souvenir. The coin can now be fully examined.

Bite Coin - US Quarter (Internal With Extra Piece) by Tango

The magician shows a coin, then he bites the coin and removes a piece of the coin, the coin is clearly shown to be missing a part. The magician then pulls the missing piece of the coin from his mouth. To finish the effect, the magician puts the piece back in his mouth and then blows on the coin and instantly the coin now looks to be whole again!

He places it on the back on his hand which is a few centimeters over a table. He gives a flick on the box and the coin crosses teh bxo and falls down the table. The box is opened and it is empty.

Effect

A tic tac box is shown empty all the way around. You take the coin and slam it on the tic tac box. You can see and hear the coin melting through the plastic and end up inside the container. A dollar bill has been braided. Close examination reveals that it has two lengthwise slits that extend nearly to the ends of the bill, dividing it into three bands. The braiding is real although the bands have never been separate. It looks impossible.
