The Nasty Deck by Tom Haze

This trick is amazing, and best of all, it can be done with any deck of cards! This isn't a trick deck by any stretch of the imagination.

The Effect:

The magician takes out a deck of cards, and asks the spectator to select any card from the pack. This card is memorized, and is then lost in the middle of the deck.

What happens next is a classic triumph effect, where the magician decides to further shuffle the cards in a very unorthodox manner. He takes half the deck, and shuffles a face-down packet into face-up packet!

However, with just a magic wave of his hand, the deck magically rights itself, showing every card to be facing the same direction again! Every card except one, that is!

Removing the one face down card, the magician asks the spectator to name out the card they chose in the beginning. However, after flipping over the card, they are shocked to see that it's not only the wrong card, but it's a scathing message from the nasty deck itself!

After a short reprimand in which the magician scolds the deck for its behavior, he then spreads the cards again to find another face down card......this time, the deck coopoerates and this proves to be the spectator's chosen card!
