Shadow Masters are the third wonder in the Bicycle Masters Series.
The theme promotes darkness and shadow.
Looking at the deck, you now know what it is to have efficient, quality tools in your hands.
The finish is Ellusionist’s infamous UV-500 and the stock is thick and luxurious. Black ink gives way to the dusky, faded approach on the artwork.
One Joker holds the sands of time, but this changes to a three of diamonds reveal in the other Joker’s hands. One “extra card” is double backed as a gift from Ellusionist to our cardworker friends. The barcode on the box contains a unique reveal as well.
The Ace of Spades is guarded, stately and confined to shadow. Your talent is best kept quiet and used wisely.
JOKERS... if death was a gentleman, this is who he would look like. One Joker holds the sands of time in his hand while the other Joker changes it to a three of diamonds REVEAL.
EXTRA CARDS - there is one standard "ad card" from Ellusionist, but one card is a DOUBLE BACKER. (A gift to our cardworker fans, enjoy.)
BARCODE REVEAL: the tuck box contains a barcode reveal of the three of spades. Use it wisely.
FINISH: the UV-500 Air-Flow is perfect for spreading and fanning. XCM'ers will love them. As usual, a plush and expensive Ellusionist-USPC stock is used to create this quality driven product. The unique card stock is exclusive to Ellusionist and cannot be used by any other company in the world.
I have had just about every deck that Ellusionist produced, except for the 2nd edition Black Ghost and Vintage 1800 series. I have the Bicycle Masters (the normal Red & Blue backs), Tally Ho Vipers, Black Tigers, Ghost (just white)... and I've finally purchased Shadow Masters from MJM... At least among the Ellusionist's custom decks I've mentioned, Shadow Masters is the best deck I've ever felt. It handles so well in the hands, and even if you drop it on the floor, the cards will still spread nicely.
In terms of looks, these cards get just as much attention as the circle back Tally-Ho Vipers (because their pips are silver, which is really cool). It is not an unusual occurrence whenever I approach people to perform and the first full minute of my time is spent on receiving comments about the cards I use.
Some of you may like Ellusionist and some of you may not, but you gotta check these cards out. They have indeed set a new standard in playing cards.
