I happen to love card magic.......not because I am good at it (because I'm not), but because it's very organic and a common item. I used to love playing card games as a kid (go fish, war, etc), so having a deck of cards was a common thing for me. To then be able to perform miracles with cards was a bonus for me. I think that's why I am fascinated with great card magicians, because they can take an ordinary object, and blow your mind with it!

Hi!......There are many card effects that although they use gaffs of some type the audience is never aware of it, and you're
able to introduce or dispose of the gaff (or even switch decks on them) so you can handle the deck just as normally as you want.
If you'd like some recommendations let me know..... :)

I'm not a card person myself, but, what would be a great beginning book or DVD on card magic?....any suggestions?.....
