Great trick!
The routine I use is:

I show the deck of cards (in the box) and I give it to the spectator. I usually do coins tricks and after, I ask the guy I gave the deck: "Do you remember the deck I gave you 10 minutes ago? Well, last night, I made a dream: I took a pack of cards, I turn it face up, I took one card out of the deck and I turn it face down. I replaced the card in the deck and I put the deck back in the box). The deck I dreamt about, you've it in your pocket. What I want you to do is to think about any card: free choice... It's done? Well, now give me the deck back and tell me the card you've just thinking of..." And you execute the trick.

That's another way to do this great trick!

just thoght i should tell you guys tat the red backed deck is cheaper.other wise this effect is amazing i gave it 4/5 because the gimmick weres out a bit but it's still perfectly useable

Steve, this doesn't have to be such a 'quick' trick. You can first show them the deck, spread them out, show that they are all facing up. Ask them to think of a card, no, just think of one, you ain't gotta pick it, just think of one.

Was it the Ace of Spades? No?
How about the 2 of clubs? No?
Could it be the 6 of diamonds? Wrong again?

Well, lemme see - I'm getting a color - RED - Is it a red card? No? OK
Is the card higher than a 6?

Now when they start to tumble to the fact that you are narrowing it down stop and look at them. You're absolutely right, out of curiousity though, what card was it?

When they tell you show them their card is upside down in the deck.

Heck, I reckon I should'a looked here first, huh?

This is a quick trick with a very strong impact. You will want to carry this deck where ever you go. You just walk up to someone and ask them to think of a card, any card. Once they announce the card they were thinking of you take out the deck of cards and spread through them, showing that there is one face down card out of the whole face up deck. The card is there card that they named... WOW.... It doesn't get any more magical then that. Resets instantly, all you do is put the deck away and you're ready to move on to the next person.

I give this trick a 9/10.
