EFFECT: Magician displays a stack of CANVAS painting (Business card size) photo cards held together with a rubber band. The spectator is now given a pen and asked to initial the top photo card.
A story is told of a small girl named Jennie who was playing in the woods one day and disappeared never to be seen again. Jennie is not seen in the photo card that is initialed by the spectator.
The initialed painting card is removed from the stack and placed face down on the table or on the spectator’s hand. After the story is told the painting card is turned around, “Jennie” is now seen standing in
the painting that the spectator previously initialed. You get enough for 40 performances. This effect is based on the Out to Lunch principle credited to Bob Ellis and Claire Cummings.
This effect uses a great story line of a small girl that goes missing and magically appears in the painting. Just think of the creative ways this can be presented!
