Pocket Nightmare is a lesson in performing a wonderful effect and audience management by a master of mentalism and magic. Max Maven developed this trick some 40 years ago but he has never, until now, manufactured the specially gimmicked deck. In the 18 minute on-line instructional video, Max discusses the history of this effect and how some people have manufactured similiar decks and routines without his explicit permission.

In the on-line instructional video, Max goes in-depth on how to do this wonderful routine and provides all the necessary subtleties and handling tips. His discussion on how to handle certain types of spectators is most helpful and interesting.

Pocket NIghtmare is not a nightmare to perform. It is very simple to perform but you will need some basic audience management. The gimmicked deck is perfectly produced in a red bicycle deck.

This is a wonderful effect and routine. I am glad Max Maven has finally produced and released this effect and special deck this real gem to the magic community. Highly recommended.
