PUNCTURE! The Ultimate pen through effect!

You borrow a coin-yes, their coin. You hold it delicately at your fingertips, no funny moves, no distractions... and then it happens:

You drive a pen straight through solid metal!

Right before their eyes, the pen penetrates the borrowed quarter with a sickeningly perfect pop, leaving the borrowed coin shish-kebabbed and dangling like some kind of coin-on-a-stick miracle.

"NO WAY. THAT'S MY COIN!"
"How the #@*! did that just happen?"
"Can I see that!?"

YES. They can.

The coin and pen are immediately handed out. They're holding the evidence of a miracle-and they won't be able to stop talking about it.

Then, you remove the coin from the pen and witness their shock when the coin has virtually healed itself!

This is more than a trick. It's a reputation maker. A jaw-dropper. A moment of pure, undeniable impossibility.

Customer Questions:

  • Q. It states it can be a signed coin but can they see the signed markings when the exam the coin on the pen?
  • A. I can easily see how one COULD do a signed routine. It's NOT necessary though, since the effect plays just as strong without a coin being signed (because you can literally have them inspect the pen and coin before and after the effect). Adding a signature is something only a magician thinks about, and really not needed.

But if you DID want to have the coin signed, you would have to have the spectator mark the coin with an 'X' (and also prepare your gimmicked coin the same way) so that they can see the penetrated X on the coin. I wouldn't recommend having the spectator sign their name or anything on it.
