Nested Coin Box Brass (4) by Mr. Magic - Trick
While the quality of the material (brass) used to make this item is very good, the manufacturer fell a bit short on functionality. The covers on at least three of the boxes were very difficult to remove. After finally removing them and a bit of fine sanding, the covers were easily removable...too easily removable. This revealed the second flaw with these boxes. The indented edges that hold the lids are far too shallow, allowing the whole unit to basically fall apart in the spectators hands. I...

Esoteric Kennedy by Steven's Magic Emporium - Trick
A visual piece of magic. It will take some practice. Some performance suggestions: You can do the set up in front of the spectator assuming you don't need reading glasses and have good eyesight. You can force a duplicate of the special card, switch the gimmicked card as you go for the coin in your other pocket. Esoteric Kennedy by Steven's Magic Emporium - Trick
I am a working pro. This is the second I have purchased this - which should tell you something. When done right, this is a mind-blowing trick. It comes in a carring case. However there are some issues. 1) The exposed end of the gimmick (that connects to the coin) in the card should be black or the same color of the card back- not...

Esoteric Kennedy by Steven's Magic Emporium - Trick
This is a lovely visual effect...especially the ability to spin the coin. It can't really be helped...but one must be ultra careful when moving the coin slightly towards the edge of the card to present the appearance that it is loose on the card. Practice moving the coin a bit should help to ensure avoiding ending the trick before it even starts.

Vernet Band Writer (Pencil) - Trick
I don’t often use a swami gimmick in my work because my writing is already bad enough. However, this has become my new favorite. It really does allow me more control than anything else I’ve tried before.
