Saying I love this effect is an understatement. I am going to make this my signature effect. It's that strong and something I would love to be known for in my local IBM ring.
I believe that the book can withstand a fairly rigorous inspection, especially if it is offered for inspection before telling the spectator that she needs to pick a "challenging" word. That way, they won't be just looking at the big words when they inspect the book
I looked through the book and I had no idea that it was gimmicked in any way.
I don't think anyone will catch onto it, as they might if the word were merely duplicated on the other page. MOAB is absolutely brilliant!
Not only will you stab your key through SOLID objects, you can hand it out for them to inspect and they won't figure out the secret!!
